WKU student-athletes have access to all the latest technologies and equipment used in the prevention and treatment of injuries. WKU’s sports medicine specialists work alongside the university’s team physicians and orthopedic surgeons to ensure each student-athlete receives first-class care in every respect.
WKU student-athletes participate year-round in a comprehensive strength and conditioning program. A bulk of this work is done in two outstanding facilities – the newly-constructed 10,000-square-foot facility at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium, and the 5,000-square-foot weight room in E.A. Diddle Arena. Both facilities feature the latest advances in strength-training equipment.
